THE PLANNING DESK

A clearer brief.
A better conversation.

Practical starting points for selecting a storage system and preparing your project inquiry.

01 / PROJECT CHECKLIST

Before you request
a racking proposal.

You don’t need every answer to get started. Share what you know, and identify what still needs checking.

  1. Project country and installation location
  2. Warehouse floor plan, clear height, columns and doors
  3. Pallet length, width, loaded height and maximum weight
  4. Product mix, pallet quantities and stock rotation
  5. Forklift model, lift height and operating clearances
  6. Target timing and intended installation arrangements

02 / SYSTEM SELECTION

Access or density?
Start with your stock.

There is no single best system for every warehouse. Compare trade-offs against the way your stock actually moves.

Mixed products, independent access

Explore selective pallet racking when individual pallet access is a priority.

Large batches, grouped storage

Compare drive-in, double-deep and shuttle systems against stock rotation and equipment needs.

Long or irregular goods

COMMON QUESTIONS

Plan with
more confidence.

01What do you need to prepare a proposal?

Start with the country, warehouse dimensions, pallet sizes, maximum loaded pallet weight and desired storage capacity. A floor plan or sketch helps. If some details are unknown, tell us what you have.

02Which racking system should I choose?

The right starting point depends on your inventory mix, access needs, stock rotation and handling equipment. Direct access often favors selective racking, while grouped stock may suit denser alternatives.

03Can dimensions and configurations be customized?

Project requirements can be submitted for assessment. Final dimensions, configurations, load ratings, availability and supply scope must be confirmed in a project proposal.

04How are load capacities determined?

Load capacity depends on the complete configuration, including beam span, frame height, level spacing, connections, loading pattern and site conditions. Use the approved engineering design for the final project.

05Are these photographs of completed customer projects?

No. Images are original AI-generated concept visualizations. The application studies illustrate planning approaches; they are not completed projects or customer endorsements.
